Books and articles are your best bet for doing research in contemporary art. Search DragonSearch (below). Keyword search by artist or time period or material. Tip: search words as a phrase by placing them in quotes. Can't find what you need? Contact us!
Click the hamburger menu in the upper left and select Settings. Select Library Links and search for Drexel. Select all the Drexel options and hit Save.
Now when you use Google Scholar, a link to full-text items at Drexel University Libraries will appear (GetIt@Drexel). Click this link and it will direct you to the full-text (or search for the article or book title in DragonSearch). Questions? Ask a Librarian!

To find print books in DragonSearch:
Use the filter option Library Location at the bottom of the left-hand column. Select Stacks and WW Oversize Stacks.
The Contemporary Artists Index was created by library staff at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Enter a name into the search box to find artists featured in exhibition catalogs and other publications.
If you find a book of interest in the CAI, you'll need to find out if Drexel University has it! Copy the title of the book and paste it into DragonSearch. Click Search. Refine Your Search to Library Catalog or Content Type Book/Ebook. If we don't have it, use EZ Borrow (scroll down to log in) to get a copy.
