Legacy Research Guide

Books are great image sources! Find them through a DragonSearch search below. There may not be a book specifically about your building, so also search DragonSearch for the architect and the building type. Tip: search words as a phrase by placing them in quotes (for example, "Vanna Venturi House" or "Eileen Gray").

Use DragonSearch on the Libraries homepage to find books, journal articles, and newspaper articles.

 

DragonSearch filtersTo find print books in DragonSearch:

Use the filter options for Library and Location at the bottom of the left-hand column. Select WW Hagerty Library under Library, and Oversize Books and Stacks under Location.

Once you find an article in Avery, you'll likely need to use the Drexel Full Text option to find the article. Search for Print first! There are many architecture magazines + journals only available in print! Check out the list of key architecture journals with print only access.
