Using Electronic Resources

Use this guide to learn how to access library resources online, including tools and troubleshooting tips

Access Resources via DragonSearch

All Drexel University students, faculty, and staff may continue to access the Libraries' resources through our website, just as you have in the past!

Use your Drexel credentials to access the Libraries' online resources both on and off-campus. Users will only need to log in once per session.

When you click on a link to a library resource, you will see the Drexel Connect login page:

Enter your Drexel user ID and password and click "connect" to view the resource.

Get Access via Publisher or Vendor Sites

Shibboleth allows Drexel students, faculty, and staff to login to many resources directly from the publisher or vendor website.

Look for an "Institutional Log-in" link or a "Find Your Library" link (examples below) and follow the prompts to log in.

Always login with your institution details for full text access to subscribed resources - not an individual account you created with the vendor.

Note that not all vendors use the same login approach; a few examples of vendor login screens are below.

Resource Vendors with SSO

The following is a list of vendors configured for Single Sign-on (SSO) via Shibboleth. We will continue to update this list as we move more vendors to Shibboleth.
