You can also use the DOI Citation Formatter from CrossRef to generate a citation for your bibliography using only the article DOI. The AMA format is listed as american-medical-association in the style list.

If you have a PubMed ID (PMID) or DOI for the article, search the Article Lookup tool first. If we do not have online access to the article, use the "Borrow this item through Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)" button to request a copy.
