We are so excited to welcome new students to Drexel University this September!

Throughout the week before classes officially start -- called Welcome Week -- you'll have plenty of opportunities to get to know the Drexel Libraries through guided tours, resource fairs and our open houses. Check out the schedule below or visit our website for details. We’re excited to get to know all of our new students--and we want you to get to know us!

Stop by the W. W. Hagerty Library and enjoy snacks & giveaways, meet Libraries staff, and learn all about the resources, services, and study spaces available to all Drexel students. 


Mid-Week Recharge: Chair Massages in Hagerty Library

Feeling tense or fatigued? A few minutes of chair massage focused on the back, neck and shoulders can improve circulation, reduce stress and tension and rejuvenate your spirit.

Drop by the Dragons' Learning Den in the W. W. Hagerty Library for an ergonomic chair massage to help you feel more relaxed about your first term in college.

Then check out the Serenity Suite (our wellness room) and all the tools & equipment you can borrow to help you de-stress throughout the term.

Explore the Drexel Libraries before classes begin!

Take a guided tour of the W. W. Hagerty Library and learn about all the resources & services that can help you throughout your career at Drexel. Libraries staff will show you around the building so you know exactly where to go to find study spaces, printers & scanners, group study rooms and more. 

All tours start by the Service Desk on the first floor. Remember to bring your Dragon Card (Drexel ID) -- you'll need to scan it at the security desk to access the library.

The W. W. Hagerty Library is located in the heart of Drexel's University City campus at 33rd & Market Streets. As you tour the building, you'll find lots of different seating options, equipment you can use, and friendly staff who are here to support you throughout your career at Drexel.
