As a reminder, masks are required in all Libraries locations, regardless of vaccination status.

Whether you want to schedule a virtual consultation with an expert librarian, check out a book or DVD for your own enjoyment, attend a DUL event or workshop, or find a quiet place to study, we encourage you to take advantage of all the Libraries' facilities, resources and services throughout your career at Drexel.

2022 Welcome Week Events

We are so excited to welcome new students to Drexel University this September!

Throughout the week before classes officially start -- called Welcome Week -- you'll have plenty of opportunities to get to know the Drexel Libraries through guided tours, resource fairs and our open houses. Check out the schedule below for details. We’re excited to get to know all of our new students--and we want you to get to know us!

Guided Tours: Get to Know Your Drexel Libraries

Pre-registration is required; see below for times & registration links

Join the Libraries’ expert staff for a guided tour of the W. W. Hagerty Library and discover the resources, services, study spaces, technology & equipment we offer all our students, including:

  • Print & online resources, like books, journals, databases, magazines, DVDs and more
  • Individual and group study spaces, like the interactive Thinkhub station and the Data Visualization Zone, located in the Dragons’ Learning Den
  • Course reserves and interlibrary loan services
  • Printing, scanning & computer equipment (including portable power chargers, laptops, whiteboard markers and erasers, headphones, calculators and more)

Library Open House & Self-Guided Tours

Daily, September 12 - 16, 8 am - 6 pm

Take a self-guided tour of the Library during our regular break week hours. Simply stop by the information table in the atrium of the W. W. Hagerty Library, grab some swag and a self-guided tour sheet, and start exploring!  (No registration required)

 

Drexel Libraries Locations

The Drexel Libraries has a physical location on each of the University's three Philadelphia campuses:
 

W. W. Hagerty Library is located on the University City campus at 33rd & Market Streets

Hahnemann Library is located on the 1st & 2nd floors of the New College Building at 15th & Vine Streets in Center City
Queen Lane Library is located at the Queen Lane Campus in the East Falls section of Philadelphia
