Mendeley

Mendeley is a reference and papers manager, academic collaboration network and crowdsourced database. Mendeley Desktop is available on Mac, Windows and Linux. Mendeley Web functions on all major browsers. Mobile versions of Mendeley are available for Ipad, Iphone and Android devices.

Mendeley Basic is free and provides:

• 2GB personal storage for personal documents.
• Permission to create up to five private groups with 25 collaborators for sharing common documents.
• 100MB shared web storage across all groups.

Create an online account at Mendeley.com

You will be prompted to download and install the Desktop version

• Open Mendeley on your computer and log in using your account credentials

• Choose Tools > Install Web Importer from the menu bar in Mendeley Desktop to install the web importer bookmarklet and insert a "Save To Mendeley" button on your toolbar

• Install the citation plugin for Word.
