The Drexel University Libraries is now open. We offer the following services to ensure access to physical materials:
The information below will help guide you in requesting access to the Drexel Libraries' physical materials. Or visit our COVID-19 response page for the latest updates on our resources, services and facilities.
The stacks in the W. W. Hagerty Library are now open. Clients may browse the Libraries’ physical collections and check out print materials as usual. Please bring all physical materials to the service desks at each location for check out.
Print materials at the Queen Lane Library are currently stored behind the service desk. Clients should request to borrow physical materials by visiting the service desk during staffed hours.
The stacks in the Hahnemann Library are closed. Clients may request to have any item from the stacks at Hahnemann Library shipped to another Libraries location or to a confirmed off-campus mailing address.
Use DragonSearch to find available content owned and licensed by the Drexel Libraries.
If an item from our physical collection is only available in print, Libraries staff can digitize portions of the item, like journal articles and book chapters, upon request. We will send digitized materials to the confirmed email address within three business days.
Please submit your request for digitized material directly through ILLiad, our interlibrary loan system.

Print and electronic course reserves are now available. Any electronic materials placed on reserve are accessible via your Blackboard Learn course shell. Print textbooks and other physical course reserves materials, including books and DVDs, are available in the W. W. Hagerty Library. Visit the Service Desk on the first floor to request on-site access to print course reserves materials.
To request to have print materials within the Drexel Libraries' collection delivered to your current off-campus address, use the 'Request Item' option in the DragonSearch record and select 'Mail it to me' as the pick-up location.
The Libraries ships physical items from its collection to clients living in the United States. Please note that we can only ship physical items requested via ILLiad and EZBorrow to clients within the United States.
Once available, Libraries staff will mail materials to your confirmed off-campus address within 7 business days. All shipped materials will include a pre-paid return shipping label.

To request contactless pickup of print materials within the Drexel Libraries' collection, use the 'Request Item' option in the DragonSearch record and select your preferred pickup location.
Once available, you will receive an email confirming the item(s) is ready for pickup, including a link to instructions for scheduling a pick-up time. Please pick up materials within 7 days.
Contactless pick-up service is available in the W. W. Hagerty Library during normal open hours.

If you received a physical item in the mail, you should have received a pre-paid return shipping label. Package the material in a small box or shipping envelope and use this shipping label to return the item to the Libraries. You may place the package in any UPS drop box, including the drop box located on the lower level of Queen Lane, to the right as you exit the elevators.
