The Drexel University Libraries’ physical campus locations will be closed effective Friday, November 20, 2020.
While our buildings are closed, Libraries staff will continue to offer remote resources and services, as well as the following services to provide access to physical materials:

Use DragonSearch to find available content owned and licensed by the Drexel Libraries.
If an item from our physical collection is only available in print, Libraries staff will digitize portions of the item, like journal articles and book chapters, upon request. We will send digitized materials to the confirmed email address within three business days.
Please submit your request for digitized material directly through ILLiad, our interlibrary loan system.
Information for Teaching Faculty & Staff:
Electronic course reserves are available for fall 2020 and winter 2021. Libraries staff will work with teaching faculty and staff to identify electronic alternatives to replace physical items on reserve for the fall term.

Information for Students:
Online course reserves are available for fall 2020. Any materials placed on reserve are accessible via your Blackboard Learn course shell.
To request to have print materials within the Drexel Libraries' collection delivered to your current address, use the 'Request Item' option in the DragonSearch record and select 'Mail it to me' as the pick-up location.
The Libraries ships physical items from its collection to clients living in the United States and internationally. Please note that we can only ship physical items requested via ILLiad and E-ZBorrow to clients within the United States.
Once available, Libraries staff will mail materials to your confirmed address within 7 business days. All shipped materials will include a pre-paid return shipping label. Clients may also return physical materials via the book drop bins in each library location.

To request contactless pickup of print materials within the Drexel Libraries' collection, use the 'Request Item' option in the DragonSearch record and select your preferred pickup location.
Once available, you will receive an email confirming the item(s) is ready for pickup, including a link to instructions for scheduling a pick-up time. Please pick up materials within 7 days.
Hours for contactless pick-up service are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., from the W. W. Hagerty Library only.

If you received a physical item in the mail, you should have received a pre-paid return shipping label. Package the material in a small box or shipping envelope and use this shipping label to return the item to the Libraries.
Clients may also return physical materials via the book drop bin at the W. W. Hagerty Library on the University City campus.
The book drop at W. W. Hagerty Library is located to the left of the main entrance of the building.
We have extended all loan periods for current Drexel students, faculty and staff to March 29, 2021. Physical materials will not incur fines before that date. If you need to extend a loan period beyond this date, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
